Our Orthotic Scanning Technology provides a fast, precise, and fully digital method for capturing patients’ foot anatomy. We utilize a TrueDepth Sensor which is a combination of infrared light projection and advanced camera technology to capture highly detailed 3D images. This sensor emits over 30,000 infrared dots to map surface geometry with exceptional precision. This enables practitioners to perform fast, non-contact, and millimeter-accurate 3D scans.

The result is a reliable digital model that can be used to design and manufacture fully customized orthotics without the need for traditional plaster casting. This advanced 3D imaging, clinicians can obtain accurate, reproducible models in minutes — streamlining the entire custom orthotic process from assessment to manufacturing.

Assessment & Production

Scan

Using our scanning application, the practitioner performs a 3D foot scan – which is non-weight-bearing. The scanner captures the full contour of the foot with millimeter accuracy, ensuring optimal fit and alignment data.

Customize & Prescribe

Our practitioners then add notes, select orthotic types, and input biomechanical corrections or padding options. These parameters and prescription are reviewed for accuracy and sent to the laboratory to create your custom foot orthotic.

Design & Production

Once the scan and prescription are completed, they are sent to our orthotic lab to create your fully custom design. This design is then fabricated using 3D Printing to ensure a perfect fit to your foot. Production takes about 5-10 days to produce and any adjustments required (up to 2) are free to charge.
